This book is a former school teacher and school trustee, James Green’s account of his 2005 run to become Mayor of Vancouver BC Canada. The book traces Green throughout his campaign from newspaper stories, emails, to all candidates meetings, to the loss of his campaign office, to the outrage of his opponents when his 40-foot campaign bus hit the streets of Vancouver. Green tells of the many threats, false claims, and attempts to derail his campaign.

It is an inspiring book of survival and intrigue. To be Mayor of Vancouver, as well as a good read, is also a useful handbook for anyone who may consider a run for political office.
